Police: Dispute leads to customer shot at West Miami tire shop

MIAMI – Miami-Dade police are investigating after a man was shot at a tire shop Monday afternoon in West Miami.
According to authorities, an altercation between a customer and an employee escalated, resulting in gunfire. 
It happened at the tire shop located near Southwest 21st Street and 67th Avenue.
Police said the employee pulled out a gun during the dispute and shot the customer.
The injured customer was transported to a nearby hospital and is said to be in stable condition. The worker involved was taken into custody by police.
Investigators have not yet determined what led to the shooting. 
The investigation is ongoing.
