  • Condition: *THEATER POSTER USA c1926* "GYPSY WAYFARERS" This is an original one-sheet poster made circa 1926 by the "Quigley Litho Co. Kansas City" promoting an upcoming musical performance. The advertisement reads: "Coming! Sumner & LeVan Present Lora Marie Harrington and the Internationally Famous Gypsy Wayfarers on their 2nd Transcontinental Tour". The Gypsy Wayfarers were a popular all-girl 6 piece traveling band playing jazz music in the Flapper era of the 1920s. Estate find measures 27" x 41" and comes plastic-wrapped on a foamboard backer for stability - might have undergone some preservation as the overall optics of print, color, and content are excellent. Fragile ephemera does show it's original fold lines with some dirt, wrinkles, and tears which could benefit from professional preservation - but this vintage collectible is suitable for framing.
