    Description

    This clock features the NC&StL Railway's J3 Class Dixie Type 4-8-8 steam locomotive. Also on the clock are an F-Unit  and a GP-7 diesel. Both were used in freight and passenger service.
    The clock can be mounted on a wall or placed on a mantle or a table.
    The clock has a quartz movement operated by an AA battery - not included.  An added feature is a sweep second hand.
    The walnut case is finished with a linseed oil blend followed by polyurethane to enhance the beautiful wood grain.  Wood screws hold the base to the frame and dowels attach the top piece to the sides. A sheet of plexiglass completes the clock.
