    Description

We use scuba-grade quality neoprene in the manufacturing process of our WonPad Saddle Blanket. This material we sell is left over from end cuts, or has defects, and cannot be used for our manufacturing process.
    Expect defects/imperfections with this material.
It is 4mm thick, scuba-grade quality neoprene. It is slick on the top surface, and spongy on the bottom surface (as can be seen in the 4th picture). It is
    not
covered with fabric. It is solid black. It can / will have wrinkles, small spots, minor blemishes, etc. These cosmetic blemishes do not affect the performance of the material, however,
many of the wrinkles will not come out
. A stock photo has been used to show a sample of what the material usually looks like, but actual material may vary with the wrinkles / blemishes / etc.
This listing is for 1 piece, roughly 18" x 18" in size. We cut to this length to keep it under the 16 ounce weight, so it can be shipped USPS First Class Mail and save $$ on shipping. If you order 2 pieces (or more), they may ship separately due to the high price of priority mail versus first class.
    FAQ:
Neoprene is highly sought after for it's waterproof / water resistant qualities. It is also pretty resilient to cold weather and remains pliable. It is used in many applications in the sports world, including skiing, fishing, etc., as well as many everyday uses including padding, non-slip surfaces, etc.
We do not manufacture wetsuits so we do recommend / have any information on this. This material is a bit thicker than what you normally find on a wetsuit and does not have a fabric covering.
Neoprene can / will break down when exposed to certain chemicals. This is better explained by Wikipedia, please look up Neoprene there (as it won't allow us to place a link here).
Some people are allergic to neoprene, again see the link above for Wikipedia.
