John Deere 1240 Planter Seed Boxes (4). Condition is "Used". This listing is for 4 boxes. If you want 2 boxes I will make a new listing for 2.The boxes would be good replacements on your 1240 planter and probably on a few other models. The boxes would also make nice country style pots for flowers. The decals could be significantly improved by hand painting in the missing black. The yellow would be difficult to match. I am including 2 original new decals. I suggest lining the inside with a heavy plastic bag. The boxes could be protected in the current appearance by cleaning, lightly sanding to smooth surface and spraying with clear coat.The boxes  are in solid condition but do show signs of age and use. No rust through.. Only local pickup 6 miles south of Bloomfield, Indiana on US 231 and 1 mile north of I 69. I will answer questions, add pictures, and do encourage inspection prior to purchase.The boxes are 16 inches in diameter,18 inches tall and weigh 20 pounds.If requested I would investigate the cost of shipping and add to purchase price.
