    Description

    This clock features the nostalgic scene of the City of New Orleans passenger train with boys fishing as the famous train passes by on its way to its namesake city. The numbers on the clock are the green diamond logo of the Illinois Central.  Two other famous IC trains were the City of Miami and the Green Diamond passenger trains.
    The clock can be mounted on a wall or placed on a mantle or a table.
    The clock has a quartz movement operated by an AA battery - not included.  An added feature is a sweep second hand.
    The American Cherry case is finished with a linseed oil blend followed by polyurethane to enhance the beautiful wood grain.  Wood screws hold the base to the frame and dowels attach the top piece to the sides. A sheet of plexiglass completes the clock.
    Dimensions 12" x 12" x 2 1/2"   This piece is handmade.
    A great piece for the train room or den.
