Hartstone Pottery 4 Green Checks Rimmed Soup or Salad Bowls 9" USA (#3)
Condition:  These bowls were "2nds" from the factory. Each bowl still has the original label on the bottom and a red mark on the bottom rim indicating "second quality".  Three bowls are level when turned over on a flat surface. One bowl slightly rocks, but still stacks with the others. I noticed two scratches that can be felt with a fingernail on the green area of one bowl.   Bowls may have minor imperfections such as a tiny black speck or a few pin-point dimples in the glaze which can be seen when held up to the light for a closer look. One bowl has a scuffed area in the center that may have been caused by stacking. One bowl has a few "splatter" dots of green (very tiny) on the band in a cream check (see last photo). Overall these bowls look new.
