: Vintage 1950s open bottom girdle with hosiery garters.  Made in the USA by Flexnit. Peek-a-boo elastic front panel. Light ruffle in the elastic waist. Wide 3" elastic band that goes across the back to the front. Each end of the band has 3 metal hooks, and there are 4 positions of metal eyelets to allow you to adjust the firmness of the girdle.  Three rows of eyelets at the middle of hem to allow you to add a crotch panel (not included). Garter straps with 2 metal and rubber garters and 2 incomplete garters (which can be easily replaced). Front section is made from 50% Acetate, 20% Cotton, 15% Nylon and 15% Rubber.  Body elastic is made from 75% Antron Nylon and 25% Lycra Spandex.

CONDITION
:
Deadstock / Vintage New Old Stock without the tags. Waist elastic is low bounce on the front. Body elastics are very good.  We gave this one a light hand wash with air dry to rid it from dust and it cleaned up nicely. Two of the garters are not complete but can easily be replaced.
NOTE: This is a true vintage garment. You may (OR MAY NOT) find faint colored tiny/very small sized age related marks here or there.  This is not uncommon for garments/fibers of this age.  These marks will typically lift out with a proper laundering and/or a light soak in an Oxyclean or light bleach solution.
