    Description

    I have lots and lots of this beautiful blue and white fabric made by the renowned Brunschwig & Fils.  I am selling it by the yard. The fabric is dated 1986 and is called Queluz.  It is a mid weight cotton fabric durable enough to be used as an upholstery fabric and light weight enough to fall nicely if used as a drapery fabric.  The printed portion of the fabric is 53" wide.  The overall width is 57" if you include the unprinted margins.  The vertical repeat is 4 1/4".  The horizontal repeat is 8".  I am confused by the name Queluz that Brunschweig & Fils chose for the fabric since Queluz is in Portugal, but the pattern reminds me a little of a Norwegian or Swedish folk art pattern like rosemaling or kurbitz.  The pattern can fit in a variety of decorating styles from contemporary to antique.  I have a full roll and an additional partial roll.  The partial roll alone contains just over 24 yards.  The full roll contains much more fabric.  There is definitely enough for several very large coordinated decorating projects!  This vintage fabric has never been used.  It remains in excellent condition.
