Here we have an
Antique Combination Brass Plumb Bob & Spirit Bubble Level with Cord Reel, 7 oz.
There is no maker's mark on this bob.
This Rare bob has a unique design in that there is a 2" long spirit bubble vial embedded inside one side of the bob and the opposite side of the body has two flat surfaces such that it can be used like a short bench level. The tool is in Very Good condition.  The body has nice smooth surfaces with minor nicks. The nicely turned cap has a knurled edge and is removable so that you can thread your string.  The threads on the cap have some nicks which makes it hang up a bit when screwing it back into the body.  The bob has a 1-3/8"L steel tip.  The bob has approx. a 1-1/4" dia. body and is approx. 6-3/4" tall.  This bob also comes with a very nice 2-3/4" dia. Brass reel to house your string.  The edges of the reel have nice knurling.  There are no owner marks on the bob or the reel.
This is a RARE one-of-a kind combination that you NEVER see !!
