    Description

    ANTIQUE 1920's - 1930's BLACK LACE-UP BONED UNDERBUST CORSET - NEVER USED
Antique corset from the 1920's - 1930's period.
    This is an o
pen-bottom corset with boning and side lacing for better fitting on waist and hips. It is made of a medium weight cotton fabric in black color with boning and someway elastic jersey patches.
The boning is metal, probably aluminium. There is a couple of tagua buttons at front side.
All four original garters are present. There is no tag attached to this garment.
CONDITION: Never used, new old stock in very good to excellent condition. The metal fittings of the garters show rust due to age, otherwise in perfect wearable condition.
MEASUREMENTS: The corset has been photographed on my 33-25-35 dress form. Due to the lacing, it would fit a variety of sizes. Measurements are:
Waist contour: 27" (69 cm.) almost fully tightened to 31"(79 cm.) + by loosening laces
    Hips contour: 33" (84 cm.) almost fully tightened - 37" + (94 cm.)
Front length: 14" (aprox. 36 cm.) front piece, 19"
    (aprox. 48 cm.)
    to bottom of garters
    Side length: 17"
    (aprox. 43 cm.)
, and 22" (56 cm.) to bottom of garters
    Back length: 17"
