The New Alexandra Theater was designed by the noted theater architect Frank Matcham, opening in December 1897 and ending its first incarnation in 1904.  These were some of the last Productions.  F.W. Purcell owned this magnificent Neo-Classical, Tudor Revival Building which unfortunately was demolished in the 1960's.  Very nice shape for their age.
