Vintage Custom-Made Spencer
Corset / Girdle in light blue
that is Absolutely Divine and in
excellent Condition.
This is a Custom-made Corset by Spencer and was probably made around the 1950’s just before girdles were mass produced and no longer custom made.
It has all the Bells & Whistles in Breathless Detail.
This corset has Floral Lace Designs throughout in a darker blue.
As you can see in the photos, the light just dances off the floral shapes in a iridescent glow.   Just Gorgeous!!
This corset is Fully Boned with an incredible 16 bones all the way around.
Just made to hold you in nice and tight.
There is a Front Busk with steel grommets for the corset lace.
The corset waist is adjustable and laces down from 32 inches to 27 inches.
It comes with 4 garter suspenders to attach your vintage stockings and they are all in excellent working order and look like they have never been used.
There is no fabric label, however from other antique corsets I have owned, this is probably a highly polished brushed cotton.
The only issues that I could find is a slight discoloration mark in the front and the lacing protector at the top is a little smudged from handling, however this should come out with a good cleaning.  Also, the corset lace could use a replacement (see photos)
