    Description

    A censored air mail cover sent from Port-au-Prince and addressed to Baltimore, Maryland. Franked with Haiti Scott #C8A, the 60 centimes Plane over Christophe's Cathedral air mail stamp from 1940 and #RA3, the 5¢ United Nations Relief Victims of War postal tax stamp from 1944. The air mail stamp is tied to the cover by a Port-Au-Prince, Haiti postmark dated December 4, 1944. The postal tas stamp is tied to the cover by a censor tape on the left end: "EXAMINED BY". on the reverse is the hand stamp censor number "30576". This cover measures 143mm x 112mm.
